PPG ProLuxe SRD (Siding Railings Deck) is a high solid one-coat wood and decking stain that penetrates deep into the wood, rather than forming a film on top. This stain offers three-way protection for exterior wood, shielding it from water damage, UV radiation, and mold. Containing Translucent Iron Oxide Pigments, ProLuxe SRD can be used on all unfinished exterior wood.

Recommended Application Methods

Surface Preparation

Surface must be clean and dry
Do not use steel wool or wire brush, Osborn brush recommended
Mildew and mold free
Do not use products containing chlorine bleach

Application Temperature

50° to 90°F

Special Instructions

Back-brushing required for optimal results
Agitate product every 15 minutes
Maintain a "wet edge" to avoid lap marks
Avoid applying product in direct sunlight

Dry Time

Dry to the touch in twelve hours
Complete cure time may take 72 hours depending on humidity and temperature.
