LOG END SEAL
Clear Log End Seal
Log End Seal is your best insurance to protect your logs’ end grain against the deterioration that could potentially occur from wind, rain, snow, ice and even sunlight. End grain acts like tiny little straws drawing moisture from rain and snow into the wood. If left unsealed, in the elements, wood will begin to absorb moisture from the air. This can lead to cracks, checks, and worst of all, rot. Log End Seal dries clear, as not to interfere with the beautiful wood grain underneath.
After you are satisfied with your Perma-Chink stain, apply Log End Seal to the ends of your logs. Once the Log End Seal has finished curing, apply Lifeline Advance topcoat for the final finish.
