Sprinkle Armor-Guard into edges of crawl spaces, bases where cabinetry will be located, and into open stud wall cavities to help control any possible infestations. The powder will stay in these locations long term and prevent carpenter ants and other wood boring insects from making their home in yours.

 Even after construction is finished, sprinkle Armor Guard into any new cracks or checks before they are sealed. Mixing Armor-Guard into water allows it to be sprayed onto wood, thus controlling insect activity and wood decay. Spraying Armor-Guard allows the liquid mixture to seep into the wood’s fibers. Being very low on the toxicity spectrum, Armor-Guard borate powder is a great alternative to other highly volatile chemical pesticides that can be hazardous to humans and animals.
