Part of the interior beauty of a log home comes from a beautiful, shiny finish. With water-based Lifeline Sure Shine poly finish, you can provide wood floors and other interior surfaces with a hardy, beautiful finish without giving off a strong odor.

 

Sure Shine allows you to use fewer coats to get the glossy finish you want, but if needed, you can apply multiple coats in one day because of its fast-drying, water-based formula. This formula also helps make your floors and interior surfaces resistant to scuffing while helping to prevent discoloration from a variety of liquids.

Sure Shine can also be used to re-coat oil-based floor finishes.

Recommended Application Methods

Surface Preparation

Surface must be clean and dry
Do not use steel wool or wire brush, Osborn brush recommended
Mildew and mold free
Do not use products containing chlorine bleach

Application Temperature

40° to 90°F

Special Instructions

Back-brushing required for optimal results
Top coat with Lifeline Advance clear coat
Agitate product every 15 minutes
Maintain a "wet edge" to avoid lap marks
Avoid applying product in direct sunlight

Dry Time

Dry to the touch in one hours
Complete cure time may take 72 hours depending on humidity and temperature.

Coverage Rate

350 - 450 square feet per gallon first coat (bare wood)
600 - 800 square feet per gallon on finished coats
