Log & Timber Defense offers an advanced formula for wood protection. Its semi-transparent stain allows the graining of the wood to show through while safeguarding the wood against water, ultraviolet rays, mold, and many other risks. This product penetrates the wood and cures by forming a lattice, giving extra support to the natural wood fibers. The unique Trans-Oxide pigments in Log & Timber Defense provide a long-lasting, attractive finish while still avoiding any peeling or flaking. As an environmentally-friendly product, it is easy to clean up with just soap and water.

Surface Preparation

Surface must be clean and dry
Do not use steel wool or wire brush, Osborn brush recommended
Mildew and mold free
Do not use products containing chlorine bleach

Application Temperature

40° to 95°F

Special Instructions

Apply first coat generously to ensure saturation, then follow up with a second coat before the first coat dries
Back-brushing required for optimal results
Agitate product every 15 minutes
Maintain a "wet edge" to avoid lap marks
Avoid applying product in direct sunlight

Dry Time

Dry to the touch in 45 minutes
