Tim-bor Professional is used for the control of dry wood termites, carpenter ants, powder post beetles, wood destructive fungi. As a water-soluble borate powder, it can be applied as a dust, spray, foam, or mist onto unfinished log homes, dimensional lumber, or inside wall voids, cracks, and crevices. Depending on the moisture content of the wood, the liquid solution will penetrate to create a protective envelope, acting as a wood preservative, insecticide, and fungicide. Dusting checks in logs and small crevices adds an additional layer of protection.

Surface Preparation

Only use on bare wood
Surface must be clean and dry
Mildew and mold free
Do not use steel wool or wire brush, Osborn brush recommended
Do not use products containing chlorine bleach

Application Temperature

40° to 90°F

Special Instructions

Only use on bare wood
Back-brushing required for optimal results
Agitate product every 15 minutes
Maintain a "wet edge" to avoid lap marks
Avoid applying product in direct sunlight

Dry Time

Dry for second application after 4 - 24 hours
Complete cure time may take 48 hours or more depending on humidity and temperature.
